Most of African talents are in the Diaspora. Brain drain remains to be a thorn for development with no clear policy strategy to attract or make use of these resources in the diaspora. CDP seeks to contribute to addressing this issue by providing double sword opportunities; for African institutions and organizations to use these talents, but also facilitate talented Africans in the diaspora to contribute to bridging the identified capacity gaps. CDP does that by offering technical support to the national and international organizations on how to tap diaspora talents and resources. CDP attracts and manages international expertise for the interests of our local partners. We arrange virtual learning trainings to provide opportunities for transferring skills, technology and experience, we organize sabbatical policy research programs, short-term training and mentoring, knowledge exchange & skills transfer, collaborative research and teaching and graduate research fellowship programs.
