The course in data analysis using STATA is a technical level course meant for those who have either completed both the introductory and intermediate courses or those who apply STATA in their routine research work. The distinction of this course is that it will equip participants with skills to handle complex data cleaning, manipulation and analysis tasks using STATA programming tools like loops (for loops, while loops, etc.), macros (both local and global), among others. These skills will be directly applied to advanced tabulation and visualization of quantitative data, exportation of summary statistics and regression results from STATA to Word and Excel, producing advanced tables for use in high-level policy reports and journal publications, among others.
